Three-phase asynchronous motor is a kind of AC motor. Generally speaking, if it is a motor, its main components can be briefly divided into three parts, namely the stator part, the rotor part, and other accessories of the motor.




1. Three-phase asynchronous motor consists of: stator (fixed part), rotor (rotating part), and other accessories. Other accessories of three-phase asynchronous motors mainly include motor end covers, bearings, terminal posts, junction boxes, fan blades and fan covers, etc. Here we mainly introduce the stator part of the three-phase asynchronous motor.




2. The stator of the three-phase asynchronous motor is the fixed part of the three-phase motor, mainly composed of stator core, stator winding, frame and so on. The main function of the stator of the three-phase asynchronous motor is to generate a rotating magnetic field and fix the entire motor.




3. The stator of the three-phase asynchronous motor mainly includes stator core, stator winding and stator frame and other components.




(1) The stator core of the three-phase asynchronous motor is made of mutually insulated silicon steel sheets stacked into a cylindrical shape, and there are evenly distributed slots on the inner circumferential surface for placing the three-phase winding. The main function is part of the motor magnetic circuit, on which the stator winding is placed.




(2) The main structure of the stator core of the three-phase asynchronous motor is punched and laminated from silicon steel sheets with an insulating layer on the surface of 0.35~0.5 mm thick, and uniformly distributed slots are punched in the inner circle of the core for Embed the stator winding.




(3) The stator core slot types of three-phase asynchronous motors are as follows:




① Semi-closed slot: The efficiency and power factor of the motor are high, but it is difficult to inlay and insulate the winding. Generally used in small low-voltage motors.




②Semi-open slot: It can be embedded with formed windings, and is generally used for large and medium-sized low-voltage motors. The so-called forming winding means that the winding can be put into the slot after being insulated in advance.




③ Open slot: used to embed the formed winding, the insulation method is convenient, and it is mainly used in high-voltage motors.




4. The stator winding of a three-phase asynchronous motor is connected by many coils, and the coils are wound by insulated copper wires or aluminum wires.




(1) The main function of the stator winding of a three-phase asynchronous motor is the circuit part of the motor, which is connected to a three-phase alternating current to generate a rotating magnetic field.




(2) The main structure of the stator winding of a three-phase asynchronous motor is connected by three identical windings that are spaced apart by 120° electrical angle and arranged in a team. The coils of these windings are respectively embedded in certain rules in each slot of the stator. The stator winding of a three-phase asynchronous motor can ensure reliable insulation between the conductive parts of the winding and the iron core, as well as reliable insulation between the winding itself.
